Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning -Asphalt 8: Airborne.

The Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning (also known as the Silver Arrow) is an electric concept car that first appears in Asphalt 8: Airborne.

The Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning appears to be front-engined by design (although the Nissan GT-R NISMO and Savage Rivale GTR are actually the most powerful front-engined cars in the Asphalt series). The Silver Lightning runs on omni-directional wheels that can turn it to virtually any dimension except upwards. Another feature of the car is the Mag-Tech Roof, which uses small lightweight magnetic squares. They can be quickly put together to make a roof, or easily contracted to make a convertible.

Asphalt 8: Airborne The Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning

Is one of three electric vehicles by Mercedes-Benz, alongside the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive and Mercedes-Benz Biome. The Silver Lightning is second most powerful electric vehicle in the game, beaten by the NanoFlowcell QUANT FE. It is also the second most powerful Mercedes-Benz in the game, beaten by the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe Touring Car 2014. Even if the QUANT FE beats the Silver Lightning, the Silver Lightning will still a better choice for most electric car events, due to the QUANT FE having beyond abysmal drifting capabilities.

The Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning has a starting rank of 1542 and a maximum rank of 1647. Being an electric car, the Silver Lightning accelerates rather slowly, even with the nitro activated. This allows even cars with low nitro efficiency like the Koenigsegg Agera R to knock down a Silver Lightning at the beginning of a race. Top speed, however, is very decent, but not the best. Despite what the game shows as the handling, the Silver Lightning actually handles quite well when drifting. The nitro lasts somewhat long, which is a big help to this car, and is a better choice than Koenigsegg Agera R in time-limited events involving middle S Class cars, alongside Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse.
